Tips To Avoid Getting Sick On Your Wedding Day

The last thing any bride wants is to get sick on her wedding day. Waking up on the most important day of your life and not feeling well can really put you down.

It’s so common to see brides and grooms experiencing a weakened immune system before their wedding day, which is from stress, premarital jitters and fatigue.

Below is tips to avoid getting sick on your wedding day.

Sleep Well: Your immune system will be terrible if you get less than 7 hours of sleep on regular basis. Make sure you get plenty of sleep the night before the wedding.

No Smoking: Regardless of all the other reasons, you should stop smoking; It damages the linings of your nose and mouth.

Make your diet more colourful: If you eat unhealthy meals on the daily, try to add fruits, vegetables and nuts into your meals and before your wedding. These will help to avoid getting sick and fight fatigue.

Sweat it out: Go for a walk or dance around your neighbourhood the morning of the wedding. This will help your blood pumping and will help boost your immune system and keep you healthy.

Keep it Clean: Carry hand sanitiser or wipes when you’re on the go.  Also make sure to wash your hands, as washing your hands is the most important thing you can do to stop the spread of germs.

Eat Probiotics: Yogurt is known to help stimulate the immune system; it is also rich in Vitamin D which is great for your body.

Take your vitamins: Make sure to take your vitamins the day of the wedding. Echinacea, elderberry and spirulina will help boost your immune system. It can be blended in a smoothie or taken as a capsule.

Water: Make sure to drink water. It removes toxins, increases your brain function, bumps up your metabolism, makes your skin more glow and has endless other benefits.
