Luca Modric is a 33-year-old Croatian national who won the FIFA best award 2018. He is the captain of the national Croatian team and currently plays in Spain for Real Madrid. He attended the award ceremony with his wife, Vanja Bosnic and 2 of his 3 children.
During his acceptance speech, he said,“It is an amazing feeling. I feel so proud and honoured. It is a special night for me and a special moment in my career. It is a day to enjoy. This trophy is dedicated to family, without whom I wouldn’t be the player or person that I am.”
He went on to thank his fans for their love and support at the unexpected win as he beat legends like Christian Ronaldo and Mohammed Salah to get the most coveted spot at the top. The couple dated for four years before getting married in 2010. They had their first son, Ivano a year after their wedding and the second child, Ema was born in 2013. They welcomed their third, Sofia child last year. Vanja was stunning in a black dress that showed off her sleek figure and the kids looked adorable as well.
