The traditional Edo bridal attire is culturally rich and elegant. It is a true representation of African queen.

One of the most important part of the attire is the hairstyle known as Eto-Okuku. The Coral beads are then sewn into the hair to form of a beautiful crown know as the Okuku. The other accessories are the neck beads (Ivie-uru) and the hand beads (Ivie-obo). The material worn across the chest vary in form of velvet, lace and George. Worn over the wrapper tied at their waist, is the Ewu-ivie, a beaded cape or blouse.
