Esele And Omata’s Friendship Grew Into A Consistent, Deliberate Partnership. Now, These 2 Lovebirds Are #onebond For Life

Esele and Omata met at a mutual friend’s party. That meeting led them to where they are now.

It all began in December 2020. Omata was out to help a mutual friend who was planning a house party. Esele was one of the guests at the party. The two got connected and started a sweet journey.

Enjoy their love story as shared by Omata:

It all began in December 2020, when a mutual friend planned a house party to celebrate the post-covid lockdown experience and the Christmas holiday. I arrived early to help out before the gig began, kept my handbag on an empty sofa to secure a seat, and went into the kitchen to catch up with the host.

Moments after the house party began, I realised that my handbag had been moved and that someone else had taken my seat. I looked around for an empty seat and found another sofa with only one person seated, Esele.

Seated next to him, a game of “Lemon Lemon” began, with me as Lemon 7 and Esele as Lemon 8, which got us talking. When the games were over, it was time to dance. Esele said he wasn’t interested in dancing, so I asked if he could film some videos of the party using my phone, and he obliged.

In the middle of the fun, I recognised it was roughly about half an hour to midnight. I immediately informed the hosts that I had to leave due to the post-covid midnight curfew. Coincidentally, Esele stood up and said the same thing, so we both walked out and down the elevator. When we arrived at the parking lot, Esele offered to see me off to my car, asked for my phone number, and exchanged pleasantries. He later called to check that I had safely returned home. This was the start of our friendship, which grew into a consistent, deliberate partnership, and now marriage.
