Joke and Sanni met on the streets of Facebook and found love.
It all started on April 24, 2018 when Joke was strolling on the streets of Facebook. Joke met this cute young man and decided to make a simple wave. That simple wave led Joke and Sanni to where they are now.
Joke and Sanni both attended Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB). So, it was much easier for them to see each other physically.

Joke and Sanni’s love story:
I was casually strolling on the street of Facebook April 24 2018 when I saw a fine bobo pop up on my timeline. I was like aahan …see black and shine cutie o. I then waved 👋 at him and ran away cause I was shy but couldn’t ignore. And he thumbed 👍 up back.
That was how we will casually chat once in a while. And I went back to remind him on May 13th that year that my birthday is 14th of May o and he used the opportunity to ask for my number and he wished me. I was so happy.
He will post a lot of people on Wednesdays as his Wednesday crush and he will randomly put me. A shey it was scope.
We started been friends and we will share everything together and gist. Gist and gist about everything. I felt like he was my safe space and I will always tell him not to tell anyone o.
I was in a serious talking stage with a guy as at then and I will always run to him for advice cause something was missing and I knew deep down who I wanted to be…..
He will even advise me genuinely and will not talk down on the guy or whatever
He wasn’t taking about me dating him or anything of such but I can see from how he looks at me that he loves me but then the best I can do was to wait and not rush things.
The first day I saw him after chatting and talking on phone for months was at funaab car park. Ommor I ran and hid from him o I was not properly dressed enough to see my crush for the very first time.
I told him that evening and he was like haba why now.
Then we made plans of him coming over to my hostel to see me for the very first time
Enough of hide and seek games.
He finally came to my hostel for the first time and I couldn’t look into his eyes all through and I got to realize he’s a very shy and reserved person (as at then ..not anymore now 😂😂😂)

And that was the beginning of premium spoilings and thoughtful gifts for me 🥰🥰🥰🥰.He will randomly come see me ..didn’t invite me to his house or whatever ..we always meet at Iyat love garden 😂😂😂(funaabites should be able to relate ). He will cook and bring it in a cooler cause I always starve myself on several occasions.
He will order stuffs and include handwritten note 🥰. He will come over to assist with baking cakes and he always bring customers for me. That was when his own love sef outgrew mine aaahan. there’s a lot of blessings in waiting o guys
Waited for almost 22 years and definitely wouldn’t have settled for less!!!!
Sometime in October he asked me out officially and normal ladies things now I will think about it even tho there’s nothing to think about.
Finally Nov 13th 2018 we started dating and guyssssssssa……that’s literally one of the best decisions I have made so farrrrr cause everything about joke and Jokies brand changed.it’s even obvious Guy literally became my adviser ,accountant ,staff and anything you can think of (will post videos on my insta story ). I got to meet his friends @heritageadisa and others and they are all amazing and also very supportive
Both heritage and my babe will mix my cake batters …..assist me and take shifts in cooking for me aahan
His friends automatically became my close friends and we all gist and play like geesIt’s been almost 6 years and it feels like just yesterday
I’m glad to be doing this life thing with you babe and I wouldn’t have wished for anything more or less
