A popular wedding tradition led to Madison LeCroy’s best memory from day she said “I do” to forever with her lovely husband Brett Randle.
“I went against the rule of having a first look,” Madison LeCroy, 32, tells PEOPLE. “I wanted him to have that initial reaction of seeing me walk down the aisle. And that was probably my favorite moment. Just seeing his face and how happy he was meant everything to me.”

LeCroy announced her engagement to Brett Randle, 37, whom she met at a bar in Arizona, in October 2021. They tied the knot at a Charleston, South Carolina, courthouse in November, and later that same month, they celebrated the courthouse wedding in Mexico.
LeCroy remembers the moment Randle saw her in her white Reem Acra dress. She said that his eyes were a little watery, but thank goodness he wasn’t crying because she would have lost it, as she has never seen him cry.
As LeCroy and Randle approach their first anniversary, the mom of 10-year-old son Hudson has started thinking about how they’ll celebrate.
LeCroy and the firefighter Randle honeymooned in Bali and Singapore and when they returned, the newlyweds held a wedding celebration in Charleston for their costars to attend.
