During the weekend, Footy star Reuben Cotter officially tied the knot with his long-term partner Mackenzie Falco at the glamorous Ville Resort and Casino in Townsville.
Reuben Cotter, 24, walked down the aisle with Mackenzie Falco just a day after playing for Australia in their Pacific Championship win over Samoa.
The Cowboys star spent more than a year planning for the wedding, but he had not anticipated a call-up from Kangaroos boss Mal Meninga on the eve of his vows.
Australia captain said of Cotter after the game: “I think he’s pretty relieved to get through it with no injuries or anything, or bruises to his face.”
The couple were surrounded by family, friends and footy stars, with Cotter’s Cowboys teammate Valentine Holmes in attendance, and Cotter was seen dancing with his friends and his new bride Mackenzie Falco in a limousine as they celebrated their wedding.
Before the wedding day, Cotter revealed that their daughter, Sunny, would walk down the aisle with their wedding rings.
