Olayemi the daughter of Otunba Yemi Lawal has tied the knot with her fiancé Olanrewaju. The high society wedding took place in Lagos and was attended by well-known and reputable personalities.
Among them were the Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun; a former Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode; Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi; a business mogul Adebutu Kessington (Baba Ijebu), and his son, Ladi; Senator Musiliu Obanikoro; Reverend Esther Ajayi among others.
Others were a juju singer, Ayo Balogun; Chairman, Address Homes Limited, Bisi Onasanya; and a United Kingdom-based real estate practitioner, Yemi Edun.
The wedding between Yemi Lawal’s daughter and her groom was held at Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, and was followed by a reception at the Landmark Event Centre, also on the Island.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, was represented by his Chief of Staff and a former Speaker of the House Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila. He sent his well-wishes to the elated couple as they began their matrimonial journey.
Ace juju music icons— King Sunny Ade and Ebenezer Obey— were also there to entertain guests with their evergreen songs, and commanding stage presence.
