Surrogacy is an arrangement, often supported by a legal agreement, whereby a woman agrees to bear a child for another person or people, who will become the child’s parent after birth.
There are many reasons why people choose a surrogate to expand their family. More and more couples opt for surrogacy, when facing difficulties to conceive a child naturally. Surrogacy may be appropriate for women with a medical condition that makes it impossible or dangerous for them to get pregnant and give birth.

Infertility: Infertility is one of the main reasons to go for a surrogacy. There are countless reasons a couple or individual may struggle with infertility issues, ranging from low sperm count or urethral stricture to endometriosis or pelvic inflammatory disease.
Single individuals: A single woman with an inability to conceive or carry a baby to full-term will require the help of a surrogate mother. A single man will require a surrogate also.
