Single parenting refers to a parent who brings up children without the assistance of a partner. There are varying reasons why a single parent would bring up a child alone without help. Often reasons are the partner may have passed away or the parents relationship have ended.

Low Parenting Quality: Your way of parenting suffers when many responsibilities are added to your everyday life. Long hours of working may make you miss your child’s important milestones.
Emotional Problems: Your children are likely to suffer from self-esteem problems growing up and throughout their life. They may want affection, which will not be enough because of your busy schedule. They may lose expectations in their relationships and later in life.
Adjustment Difficulties: Children would face adjustment issues along with their single parents. They may be a sense of loss, poverty and continuous exposure to parental arguments.
Feeling of abandonment: The child is most likely to feel some sort of abandonment and will find the arrangement hard. They are bound to feel abandoned by one of the parents.
Poor performance: The child will likely lose focus in school and struggle with concentration. Simple tasks such as completing homework or making their bed will be challenging for them. The child may feel uninterested and feel complete loss of interest in doing anything.
Rebellious behaviour: There will be a great chance the feeling of resentment and abandonment the child might be feelings would make them rebellious. They may become arrogant, rude and have shocking behaviour.
