Kick-off your speech with a catchy line or phrase it could be a quote, a song or a line that defines the couple. The goal is to engage your audience, not make it a boring one-way message.

2. Keep it short and simple
You do not have the whole day to share with the audience and there are other activities lined up for the ceremony. Keep it short and simple to sustain the attention of audience and also deliver a good speech.

Keep the mood light it is a beautiful day but remember not to crack too many jokes leaving the room a total mess. Make sure you crack the right amount of jokes and then return to your speech.
4. Don’t share too many intimate information about the couple
In your speech add intimate details about the couple but don’t share something that the couple wouldn’t want many to know. You are a close friend and so you are previledge to this information but not everyone should. You could share a cute observation, name or other things about the couple that would excite the audience.

Concentrate on your audience and how you want them to feel. This will help you to speak from the heart, allowing your speech to do what it’s supposed to do: Make the couple feel special while also engaging the audience.
