Sound Sultan’s Wife Pens Heartwarming Letter To Late Husband On His 2nd Death Anniversary

Sound Sultan died in July 2021, after losing a battle with throat cancer in the United States of America.

Farida Fasasi, the widow of the late Nigerian musician Olanrewaju Abdul-Ganiu, Fasasi popularly known as Sound Sultan has remembered him.

She shared a heartfelt message in remembrance of her husband.

Recall that Sound Sultan died in July 2021, after losing a battle with throat cancer in the United States of America.

Taking to social media to honour his second-year memory, Farida Fasasi in an Instagram post wrote: “Today, I choose to celebrate you and honour your legacy. I choose to remember you in a good way. Omo iseyin, the one that loves his culture so much. My tall dark skinned Iseyin man.

“’Aboo’ is the fond name you called me. Our three beautiful kids miss you so much, they still remember everything about you, and it is funny how they talk about you like you are still here.

“Your siblings have been very supportive, and they try their best not to let us feel your absence in our lives. They also miss you every day.”
