Akani Simbine is engaged to be married to his Zulu queen.
The former Africa’s fastest man Akani Simbine announced his engagement news on his Instagram page by sharing photos of his beautiful bride-to-be.
He captioned it: “Forever yena.”
Akani Simbine, 30, is one of the most consistent and greatest sprinters in Africa and world history. For more than 10 years, he has remained at the topmost level of the world’s best sprinters, getting to various major finals and winning several medals in the process.
He is a multiple sub-10s runner, a former African and Commonwealth champion, and has a Personal Best of 9.84s in the 100m.
Although he is yet to win a medal at the World Championships or Olympic level, the talented speedster will be gunning to turn this around by placing on the podium at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
