Uche Lloyd Iheanacho tied the knot with his sweetheart Amy Akudo Iheakanwa in a luxurious wedding in Lagos, on Tuesday.
Uche Lloyd Ihenacho is the Managing Director of Integrated Oil and Gas Limited. The event was chaired by a former Chairman of the Oil and Gas Free Zone Authority (OGFZA), Dr. Chris Asoluka.
Several maritime bigwigs as well as oil and gas giants graced the occasion in honour of the groom’s father, a former Minister of Interior and Chairman of Integrated Oil and Gas Limited, Capt. Emmanuel Ihenacho.
Speaking at the ceremony, the groom’s father Capt. Emmanuel Ihenacho said that the event was a thing of great joy as he saw his first son make a major development in life.
His words: “I’m excited that Uche makes this beautiful decision to get married to an amazing lady and I see it as a sign of great responsibility. Obviously, it also shows that we are following the instructions in the Bible which admonishes that people should at some point in their lives leave their parents and embrace their wives.”
He went on to advise the newly wedded couple to prioritize tolerance, love and respect, stressing that these virtues will preserve peace and strengthen their union.
“Nobody is 100 percent perfect. So, I’ll advise that they love one-another and tolerate each other,” he admonished.
Here is how Uche and Akudo met:
