Bill and Mareta Corley are celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary.
Bill and Mareta Corley were married on May 1, 1953, at Ponce DeLeon Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia. Their wedding took place shortly before they both graduated from the Southern College of Pharmacy in Atlanta.
The couple are the parents of three children: Alan Corley and his wife, Mary Lynn; Cheryl Stalans and her husband, Gordon, and Megan Cooper, and her husband, Greg. They have six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
They began their pharmacy careers in Mareta’s hometown of Rogersville, Tenn. Bill is a native of Cedartown, Georgia.
In 1968, the couple moved to Greeneville, where they continue to reside today at their original home on Dyer Street.
