American celebrity Jessica Simpson admits that she felt “more supported” as soon as she met her husband Eric Johnson as the celebrity duo approach their 10th wedding anniversary.
Hollywood pop singer Jessica Simpson – who was initially married to 98 Degrees star Nick Lachey from 2002 until 2006 – tied the knot with footballer Eric Johnson in 2014 and explained that it feels “nuts” that they are approaching their 10th wedding anniversary.
Asked how she feels about the milestone, Jessica Simpson said “It’s nuts. My life before him, I had a blast. But once I met Eric, I felt like it was just more nurtured. Everything was more supported.”
She said, “It’s really my oldest daughter who is obsessed. When she was 5, she wanted to be a vet, so she started asking Santa Claus for a dog eight years ago. That’s why we have eight dogs!”
She told Access Hollywood, “Yeah, it has happened, but I think we’re in denial about it, as is the child. It’s not really been something that [they’ve] talked about. Although I have just had to fill my middle child in on certain things, but luckily, he hasn’t walked in. I think he would stand there and be like, ‘What are you doing?’ He would literally talk to us.”
