Jock Zonfrillo’s widow Lauren Fried revealed the heartwarming plans for their future together before his death last year.
On the occasion of what would have been the couple’s 7th anniversary, Lauren Fried took to Instagram to share how they wished to “grow old together” in Europe, alongside a montage of photos from their 2017 beachside wedding.
“Happy anniversary my love. Our dream of growing old together in the middle of nowhere in Italy – kids and dogs under our feet, you laughing your enormous laugh, falling asleep on your chest – is so vivid,” She wrote in a post shared to Zonfrillo’s account.
“That’s where I imagine you now.”
Lauren was in Italy at the time of her husband’s death with the couple’s two young children, Alfie, 5, and Isla, 3, who flew home to Australia shortly afterwards.
