On Saturday, December 16, Major General Lawrence Ngubane (rtd) took Christine Ngbale to the altar in Numan, Adamawa State.
Among those present at the wedding ceremony of General Lawrence Ngubane are the immediate past Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya (rtd), Major General Sunday Obekpa Idoko (rtd), Bala Adamu Mohammed (rtd).

According to General Faruk Yahaya, many military officers would have attended the wedding but for the Army Staff Annual Conference which ended on Sunday in Maiduguri, Borno State.
