Liverpool player Luis Diaz and his fianceé Geraldine Ponce welcomed their second child, a baby called named Charlotte, into the world on Thursday evening.
Announcing the joyful news, Luis Diaz, 27, and Geraldine Ponce, 24, posted sweet snaps cradling the new baby with their daughter Roma, two.
The Liverpool player reached the Carabao Cup final with his team less than 24 hours before they welcomed their gorgeous newborn.
Alongside a slew of doting snaps, the caption translated:
CHARLOTTE, is such a long awaited and desired little girl, who came into our lives with incredible magic.
On our 7th anniversary, on April 25th, we decided it was time to watch our family grow. Just a month later, also a 25, this time May, we got the news we didn’t expect to hear so soon, our baby was already with us.
‘And today, January 25, on a day we already considered special, our little girl arrived.
God has blessed us with our daughter. Charlotte has arrived to fill us with laughter, love and unforgettable moments.
Now the 25th of every month belongs to her. Welcome my magical princess.
Luis Diaz also published a sweet photo of him in a hospital head cap cuddling up to his youngest daughter on one side while his wife kissed her on the cheek.
