‘I Love You’ – Comedian AY Makun Celebrates 15th Wedding Anniversary With His Wife Mabel

Comedian AY Makun and his pretty wife Mabel rejoice as they celebrate 15 years of marital bliss.

AY Makun and Mabel have known each other for twenty years. The couple mark their 15th wedding anniversary on Wednesday, November 29.

Celebrating the special moment, the comedian shared throwback wedding photos, showing their growth and he wrote in his caption:

It’s been 20 amazing years of knowing each other, 15 years of marital hustle and bustle, occasional sweetness and bitterness, pains, and gains.

We thank God for the unconditional love and grace that has kept us standing and counting all these years of celebration.
In this our first 15-year anniversary. I wish us both more love, strength, patience, tolerance, and happiness to be able to celebrate many more 15-year anniversaries together. I LOVE YOU, @realmabelmakun

Mabel also posted a picture of the duo and captioning it, she wrote:

15 years today but it still feels like yesterday. Happy anniversary husband of mine,forever to go. Thanks for all that you do,I appreciate. Love you to the moon and back always @aycomedian ❤️❤️❤️❤️

About Comedian AY

Ayodeji Richard Makun also known by his stage name A.Y, is a Nigerian actor, comedian, radio and TV presenter, writer, producer and film director. Born on 19 August 1971, he hails from Ifon, Ose local government in Ondo State.

He is the host of the A.Y live shows and A.Y comedy skits. His first movie, 30 Days in Atlanta was produced by him and directed by Robert O. Peters.

In 2009, he was made United Nations Peace Ambassador. He is also the CEO of Corporate World Entertainment Nigeria.

Ayo Makun received his education at Delta State University, Abraka, Delta State, Nigeria. He graduated as a theatre arts student in 2003 (after nine years of study). A.Y was awarded the Jaycee Club Socio-personality Award, Best Show Business Promoter (2001), Most Celebrated Student on Campus (2001), and Most Fashionable Student on Campus (1999 and 2000) while a student.

Ayo Makun came into spotlight when he was Alibaba Akporobome’s personal assistant and event manager. He wrote going “A.Y wire” as a guest columnist in The Sun (Nigeria) and Gbenga Adeyinka’s “Laugh Mattaz”.

He is the oldest male child from a family of seven. He married his wife, Mabel in November, 2008. They have two children together, Michelle and Ayomide.

AY directs and acts in one of Nigeria’s sitcom, AY’s crib with Alex Ekubo, Venita Akpofure, Buchi Franklin, and Justice Nuagbe. He also hosts comedy shows, AY Live featuring comedians like Bovi, Helen Paul, and many other comedians.

Ayo Makun is also the Chief Executive Officer of Corporate World entertainment, Nigeria. He also owns a club house. As an investor in stand-up comedy, he has paved the way for upcoming comedians through his AY “Open Mic Challenge”.

He co-hosted at the 2018 Golden Movie Awards Africa held at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra, Ghana with Joselyn Dumas.
