Singer Muigai Wa Njoroge Tells Off Critics Blasting His Nigerian Outfit At His Wedding To 2nd Wife Queen Stacey

Singer Muigai wa Njoroge has come out to defend himself after he was criticised for wearing Nigerian attire to his wedding to Queen Stacey in August.

Muigai married his second wife, Queen Stacey, in a colourful ruracio (traditional) wedding, which was attended by several local celebrities.

Unlike most traditional Kikuyu weddings, where lovebirds wear matching brown outfits with traditional accessories, Muigai and Stacey chose a modern style.

They wore Nigerian attires to the wedding.

Muigai wore a white kaftan suit with a touch of brown. He wore purple Ankara shoes and a matching hat. The father of eight clutched a stylish staff stick in his hand. Stacey wore two different outfits for the event. Her first outfit was a long, flowy gown with purple and brown colours dominating. She had straight human hair and a purple fan made of feathers.

Muigai shared a photo he took on his wedding day, posing with two of his children, wearing matching white kaftan suits. A female fan commented on the photo, inquiring why he chose the outfit for the wedding. “But why Nigerian outfit instead of Kikuyu cultural outfits?,” the fan asked.
