Ollie Watkins proposed to Ellie Alderson as they enjoyed a romantic holiday at Lake Como, Italy.
A week after the Euro 2024 final, the pair jetted off for their holiday. During their stay on the lake’s shore, the footballer got down on one knee and asked his girlfriend to marry him.
The duo shared photos from their proposal on their Instagram pages, with Ollie Watkins captioning his post:

On her part, Ellie wrote:
Special night in lake como with my fiancé 💍❤️ ahhhh sooo happy ❤️
Ollie was the nation’s hero in England’s European Championship semi-final victory over the Netherlands as he came off the bench to score a stunning finish.
Ellie followed him to Germany amongst a host of other WAGs and was an avid supporter in the stands as Watkins and his team-mates were eventually denied a historic piece of silverware by Spain.
They first got together in 2018 and have seen their romance blossom ever since in-line with Watkins’ rise to becoming one of the Premier League’s most clinical goal scorers.
