The son of British acting legends Timothy West, 89, and Prunella Scales, 91, has revealed that his parents have officially marked six decades of marriage.
The 60th wedding anniversary of Prunella Scales and Timothy West was celebrated with a party.
Samuel West shared a photo of his parents smiling broadly on their sofa at the party.
Writing on X, actor Samuel West, 57, paid tribute to the loving marriage of his parents, saying: ‘How can 60 have so many factors and still be indivisible?’

The couple officially tied the knot on October 26th, 1963 and had a ‘little do’ this week to mark their diamond wedding anniversary, West said.
The couple’s marriage has become one of the nation’s favourite love stories, with the duo still living in their Wandsworth home, even following Prunella’s diagnosis with vascular dementia more than 20 years ago.
