Julie, took to her Facebook account to reiterate her unending and growing love for the outspoken and bold Reuben whose heart she had stolen. She expressed her joy and happiness for being married to Reuben and reassured him of her love through the ups and downs. “16 years and counting! God you have been so good to us. Happy anniversary Sweetie Reuben Kigame! The vows still go unbroken, through the highs and lows, you are still the one! May the Lord grant us many more by each other’s side. Tuendelee kunywa soda (let’s continue drinking soda),” she said.

Reuben was born in March 13, 1966 in Vihiga county and married Mercy Wanderwa in 1991 but she passed on in a road accident on September 5, 2006 while she was driving to Nairobi from Eldoret.

Mercy’s demise deeply wounded Reuben who was now left with three daughters Shalom, Shekinah and Shema, the latter who was wounded in the accident and had to undergo treatment for years.

The three daughters, just like their parents are good musicians and have recorded their music. However, as God continued strengthening him, he fell in love with Julie, who was endorsed by his three daughters.
