Royal Wedding: First Look At Harry And Meghan’s Elegant Wedding Cake

What you should know about the royal wedding cake!

Prince Harry and Meghan markle’s royal wedding is tomorrow and we’ve got all the details on their royal wedding cake. The royal couple chose a lemon elderflower cake to serve at their wedding reception. Kensington Palace revealed that the cake will incorporate “the bright flavours of spring.”

California pastry chef, Claire Ptak, will be making the cake. Ptak said in a statement, “I can’t tell you how delighted I am to be chosen to make Prince Harry and Ms. Markle’s wedding cake. Knowing that they really share the same values as I do about food provenance, sustainability, seasonality and most importantly flavour makes this the most exciting event to be a part of.”

The royal wedding cake, which is a lemon elderflower flavor, is going to be decorated with fresh flowers and buttercream frosting and this will be a break from the traditional fruitcake typically served at British weddings.
