Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s royal wedding update.

Final preparations on Royal wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are already taking place. The bride’s mother Doria Ragland will be meeting the Queen for the first time at Windsor Castle later and she will be accompanied by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. However it remains unclear who will walk Meghan down the aisle at tomorrow’s event.

Royal wedding cake: The baker Chef Ptak is already putting finishing touches in the wedding cake which will be served to 600 guests at Windsor Castle.

Family arrive: Members of the Royal Family including the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are already in Windsor ahead of the royal wedding. Meghan Markle’s mother was also able to meet William and Catherine at Windsor Castle on Thursday.

Bridesmaids: Meghan Markle won’t be having any adult as bridesmaids, she chose 10 bridesmaids and pageboys who are all under the age of eight. To avoid choosing between her closest friends, Meghan also decided not to have a maid of honour.

Rehearsal of the carriage procession: The rehearsal drew hundreds of children, parents and pets keen to embrace the party mood. About 250 members of the armed forces will be taking part on Saturday.

Weather forecast: BBC Weather is forecasting a sunny, breezy day for Saturday with temperatures reaching 21C (70F) in the late afternoon.
