Shatrughan and Poonam’s journey of togetherness spans well beyond their 43 years of marriage, as they first met on a train while Shatrughan was en route to Mumbai to pursue his acting career. Over the years, they stayed in touch. Despite a brief three-year separation, their love stayed strong and they decided to tie the knot on July 9, 1980.
