Princess Sophie and Prince Ludwig have welcomed their first child.
According to a post shared on social media, Princess Sophie and Prince Ludwig welcomed a baby boy named Prince Rupprecht Theodor Maria, who was born on August 6, 2024.

The announcement read;
“Prince Ludwig and Princess Sophie-Alexandra of Bavaria have announced the birth of their first child, a son. The new little prince of Bavaria has been named Rupprecht.
“Princess Sophie and Prince Ludwig of Bavaria are delighted to announce the birth of their first child. Prince Rupprecht Theodor Maria was born on August 6th in Munich. Mother and child are in excellent health, the young family is now enjoying their first days together.”

On May 20 2023, Prince of Bavaria married Sophie-Alexandra Evekink in a religious wedding ceremony at St Kajetan Church in Munich.
Prince Alois and Princess Sophie of Liechtenstein, Princess Margarita and Prince Radu of Romania, Prince Louis of Luxembourg were among the guests who were present at the wedding ceremony.
