Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, the mother of the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, attended the wedding ceremony of Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan and Rajwa Al Saif on June 1 along with a number of other esteemed royal guests such as Kate, Princess of Wales, and William, Prince of Wales.
The Sheikha painted an impressive figure in vintage Valentino couture as she was greeted by Their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania at Zahran Palace. The eye-catching look featured a Valentino Fall 1989 evening coat inspired by Viennese architect Josef Hoffman paired with a black gown.
Later in the day as guests arrived at Al Husseiniya Palace for the wedding reception, Sheikha Moza once again proved her penchant for memorable fashion picks with a flowing chiffon gown in a bold shade of lime green. A full skirt extended to the floor from the bodice featuring fitted long sleeves. The more feminine number was cinched in at the waist with a Boghossian belt that was perfectly complemented by a pair of earrings from the iconic jewelry brand. A draped and cowled head covering completed this look.
