Limit unhealthy foods and eat healthy meals
Eat a variety of food that includes vegetables, fruits, nuts, etc. cut back on the unhealthy meals (junk food). Doing this will help you stay healthy.

Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water
Staying hydrated is important for your body to function properly. Water also has a significant impact on your energy levels, brain function, and general health.

Avoid too much caffeine
Too much of anything can be a bad thing, and that includes drinking too much coffee, tea, or soda. Caffeine can increase your heart rate and blood pressure, which may negatively affect your health.

Stay active by exercising
Whether it’s walking, jogging, swimming, or doing an indoor workout, the goal is to stay physically active. Exercise not only helps you maintain a healthy weight but also decreases your risk of developing diseases as a result of a sedentary lifestyle.

Get enough sleep
There is a strong link between sleep and the immune system. Getting seven to nine hours of sleep heals and strengthens your body while you are asleep. Good sleep is vital for your physical and mental health.  Aim for an early bedtime for you and your family.
Manage your stress
Stress is a known trigger for many illnesses. Find ways to relieve stress, whether it’s watching a funny movie, painting, going for long walks, working in the garden, listening to music, or soaking in a bubble bath. Managing your stress will help you live a healthy lifestyle.

Cut down on screen time
Too much time on social media or watching tv can increase stress and anxiety. While your kids may need to use technology often, incorporating other activities in small blocks of time in between screen time can help to break it up. Make screen time a privilege that is allowed only after chores and homework are completed. Limit screen time to less than two hours a day, and keep screens out of your child’s bedroom.

Limit your alcohol intake
Drinking alcohol in excess can lead to liver diseases and even liver cancer in the long run. Alcohol abuse can also cause impaired judgment and even lead to accidents and injuries. So if you are sure you want a healthy life, make sure you limit your alcohol intake.
Wash your hands
Washing your hands frequently with soap and water or using an alcohol-based sanitizer is a simple but effective way to stop the spread of infection. Always remember to follow this practice before making or eating food, after handling waste products, after using the bathroom, and while caring for a sick person.
Take Multivitamin Supplements
To make sure you have sufficient levels of nutrients, taking a daily multivitamin supplement is a good idea, especially when you do not have a variety of vegetables and fruits at home.
