Technically out of a job, Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has posted stunning wedding photos of his wedding with his long-term fiancé.

On Thursday, De Gea and his fiancée Edurne Garcia arrived on the picturesque island, where they plan to have an intimate and discreet wedding ceremony soon.

Garcia, a Spanish singer, actress, and TV presenter, first crossed paths with De Gea in late 2010 while recording a Christmas carol to raise funds for cancer treatment.

On Saturday, the Spanish goalkeeper officially married his partner Edurne. Following the wedding, the couple shared a photo together on Instagram with the caption, “We are incredibly happy!”

Currently, De Gea is technically a free agent since his previous contract with United expired after June 30.

Reports suggest that the club has offered him a new contract with significantly reduced wages while engaging in discussions with Inter regarding the transfer of goalkeeper Andre Onana.

De Gea has also been linked with a potential move to Al-Nassr, a Saudi Arabian club, as he continues contract negotiations with United.
