Wedding purchases aren’t cheap. It is important to choose wisely when thinking of what to spend money on your wedding. You will need to consider many things such as, caterers, reception, pictures, videography and makeup. All of these things cost money, which makes the price tag add up quickly.

Wedding Theme: It adds up when you have to find and buy items or make special arrangements to fit the theme.

Traditional wedding dress: This is often costly and there is no point because brides often do not know what to do with their wedding dresses after. With a simpler dress you can wear it again on other occasion.

The dessert table: Dessert tables are often gone to waste. You shouldn’t spend money on a dessert table when you will be offering desert already after the meal.

Photography: You may have artsy friends or friends who are professional photographers who can take on this role. They can often do this for free and this will save you money.

Transportation: If your ceremony and reception aren’t in the exact location, you don’t have to pay for a fancy party bus or limo or other luxury cars.

Decoration and Setup: If any of your friends or family members are licensed to perform marriages, ask them to officiate the ceremony. Brides and family can set up and decorate for free.

Make up: You shouldn’t have to spend tons of money for makeup. If you have friends or family that know how to do amazing makeup, you should ask them to do your makeup instead. This will allow you to save tons of money.
