It is no surprise that German media dubbed this weekend’s nuptials of Ludwig to Helene von Pezold the ‘dream wedding of Kreuzwertheim’.
Louis, 29, – the hereditary Prince of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Freudenberg – and Helene, 28, the third of four daughters of Kilian von Pezold, certainly had a star-studded day.

Guests at the Protestant wedding in the Wertheim collegiate church – included Duchess Elisabeth in Bavaria, Baroness Sophia and Baron Clemens von Elverfeldt.
The stunning bride wore a Diamond Tiara worn a few months earlier by her sister, Sophia von Pezold, for her wedding, and it is believed she will wear the royal piece to her royal ball evening, according to the Royal Watcher.
For the no-expense-spared celebration, the happy couple took their dazzled guests to the castle in Kreuzwertheim to indulge in a menu which included a roast pig, poultry and many vegetarian dishes such as falafel.

The couple, who were engaged for over a year, tied the knot at their civil wedding yesterday September, 8, at the town hall of Kreuzwertheim, then enjoyed a religious wedding this morning at the Stiftskirche in Wertheim.
Guests will dance the night away at a spectacular Ball at Schloss Wertheim in Kreuzwertheim – the seat of the Löwenstein-Wertheim-Freudenberg Family since 1736 – this evening.

The happy couple were pictured sharing a kiss on a royal blue carpet which lined the aisle of the church. 
The church was decorated in white, yellow and blue flowers to match the bride’s elegant bouquet.
The groom and the bride’s father donned matching olive green waistcoats, dress jackets and grey striped trousers.

The newly-wedded couple left the church in a cream wedding car decorated in a similar fashion to the church – detailing white, yellow and blue flowers across the windscreen.
