A bride has left people shocked after sharing how her husband had asked her for a divorce after she refused to have sex with him on their wedding night
According to this woman, she had slept with her then-husband before their wedding night, but had declined on that particular evening, as she had felt too “tired” for any intimacy.
In what many have regarded as a lucky escape for her, he reacted furiously and told her he wanted to get a divorce when they woke up the following morning.
They hadn’t even been married 24 hours at this point and ended up separating just two weeks later.
The woman, opened up about her ordeal on an Australian radio show , leaving many listeners horrified.
Rachel, who had phoned in following a request for stories about super short relationships, revealed: “I was married for not even 24 hours before my husband wanted a divorce, and we separated two weeks later.”

When the astonished hosts ask her what exactly had happened, Rachel continued: “The night of the wedding, we went out, and when we got back to the hotel room, unfortunately, I didn’t give him what he wanted.”
Rachel went on to clarify that they’d had sex together previously, but that night she had just been too tired and so wasn’t in the mood. She added that her husband’s angry reaction had left her feeling “miserable”, and that she “couldn’t wait” to get away from him.
After a clip of the phone call was shared on social media, many fellow listeners made their own feelings on the matter known, with many showing support and good wishes for Rachel.
One person commented: “Absolutely dodged a bullet”.
Another remarked: “Men like him deserve to stay single.”
