Bruno Guimaraes has married his long-term girlfriend Ana Lidia Martins in a stunning ceremony at Brazil’s most famous landmark, the statue of Christ the Redeemer.
Ana was by Bruno’s side as he jetted into Newcastle to clinch his big money move from Lyon at the start of 2022 and has been by his side ever since, as constant presence in the stands of St James’ Park and at some away games too,. including the Carabao Cup final at Wembley.

The couple welcomed baby boy Mateo into the world last October and their little son was right with them as they walked down the aisle in the shadow of the world famous statue to tie the knot.
Bruno looked very smart for the occasion, in a sharp grey suit and black shoes, while bride Ana looked elegant in a calf length white wedding gown with lace sleeves.

Ana, who has already changed her Instagram bio to include Guimaraes in her name and Matteo joined Bruno on the pitch at St James’ Park for Newcastle’s final home game of the season last month, as they clinched qualification to the Champions’ League.
Sharing photos of the family together on her Instagram grid, Ana wrote: “WE ARE IN THE CHAMPIONS! Happiness, pride, admiration without size for this team and for you, my love @brunoguimaraes! I saw up close the sleepless nights, the anxiety, the hard work, the delivery, the frustrations”
She added: “In this place we lived the best moments of our lives, and this achievement came to crown the blessing that being here was for our family.”
