Athlete power couple Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens celebrate their 1st wedding anniversary.
Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens tied the knot on April 22, 2023, in an outdoor wedding, and they were surrounded by their loved ones.
In commemoration of their wedding anniversary, Simone Biles took to her Instagram page to share some lovely photos of herself and her husband.
She captioned it: “this is your sign to marry your best friend
happy 1st anniversary 🤵🏽♂️🤍🤞🏾👰🏾♀️🕊️ I’m excited for many more to come. I wish I could marry you a million times more! I love you so much!”
Jonathan Owens also posted an anniversary message of his own on his Instagram Stories. It featured a photo of himself and Biles embracing inside an elevator with the message, “One year down.”
“Man does time fly, I love you so much baby ❤️❤️,” he added.
The couple will get to celebrate their first anniversary all over again in May, as they had not one but two weddings last year. Weeks after their intimate courthouse ceremony in Houston, Texas, the newlyweds jetted off to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, to say “I do” for a second time at a much bigger destination wedding.
