Former Nigeria Military Head Of State General Yakubu Gowon And His Wife Victoria Celebrate 55th Wedding Anniversary

Former Military Head of State General Yakubu Gowon has marked 55 years of marital bliss with his wife Victoria.

Gen. Yakubu Gowon and his wife Victoria exchanged vows on April 19, 1969, at the Anglican Cathedral Church of Christ, Marina, Lagos.

On Friday, April 19, the couple happily celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary with family and friends.

General Yakubu Gowon was Nigeria’s Military Head of State from Aug. 1, 1966 to July 29, 1975.
