Eat healthily
Eating healthily is a great first step towards reducing the appearance of stretch marks during pregnancy.  Stretch marks form because of rapid weight gain or loss. You can prevent that weight by eating moderately. We know pregnancy comes with lots of cravings, but if you are adamant about not wanting stretch marks or reducing the appearance then you have to put this into consideration.
Hydrate your skin
Always keep your skin hydrated, it is a great way to avoid or reduce the appearance of stretch marks. Hydrating allows your skin to expand and grow without tearing and forming stretch marks.

Drink plenty of water
Drinking water is very important, not only to avoid stretch marks but also for you and your unborn baby. Drinking water helps you hydrate your body from the inside, staying well hydrated helps your entire body work like it’s supposed to and that includes your skin. Drinking plenty of water helps your skin cells function correctly, repair themselves, and ward off (or recover from) stretch marks.
Get a stretch mark cream
One of the best ways to avoid or reduce the appearance of a stretch mark is by getting yourself a stretch mark cream, getting yourself one, and making use of it as often as you can.
Treat fresh stretch marks when they appear
If you can’t totally prevent stretch marks on your skin, you can work to minimize their appearance so they aren’t as noticeable in the long run. Make an appointment with your doctor or a dermatologist to discuss your options if you have fresh stretch marks. Your doctor can help determine what is causing your marks, and they may be able to suggest treatment options that work best on new stretch marks.
