You must understand her priorities: You should be willing to understand that she is a mother first, a girlfriend later. you must give her the space to manage her priorities.

Don’t rush the meeting: Don’t rush into setting up a meeting with her kids. Her children already have been through a lot of emotional ups and downs. Seeing their mother date is bound to make them upset. Wait when she’s ready for you to meet them.

Don’t try to take on the dad role: The fact that you two are dating, does not mean that you can just take on the father role. you have to play mom to his kids. They already have a father and would appreciate you not getting involved in things that do not concern you.
