You want your wedding to be absolutely perfect. You want you and your partner to look your very best. Loosing weight for you wedding makes you feel good about yourself and your special day.

Weight loss to a healthy weight for a person’s height can promote health benefits. These include lower cholesterol and blood sugar levels, lower blood pressure, less stress on bones and joints.

Below is 10 tips to help you loose weight for your wedding.

Burn more calories than you eat: When you eat more calories than you burn, you gain weight. It is important that you come up with some sort of diet plan. Meal plan or having someone make healthy meals for you.

Increase your protein intake: Aim for protein in every main meal whether that’s meat, fish or vegan alternatives like beans and chickpeas. Eating high amounts of protein helps you maintain your muscle mass.

Workout with a buddy: Get a workout buddy. You will feel more motivated. When you and your buddy encourage each other and you’ll work harder. You will also get better results.

Move more every day: Walk more and choose walking if its an option to go anywhere. Park further away in the car park, take stairs instead of the lift, go for 15-20 min walks.

Enjoy the process: Try not to put too much pressure on yourself to look a certain way, enjoy the journey and learn to love your body at all stages. If you put yourself onto too much pressure then you will feel unhappy and stressed.

Limit Alcohol Intake: It is celebration time and your happiness but it is important that you limit alcohol intake. Limit it to few drinks per week, if you must really need a drink.

Find your ‘why’: Add an emotional attachment to your goal, it holds more meaning, you are more likely to stick to it. Have goals each week and follow through with it.
