Ayodeji and Mayowa’s love story is so sweet and relatable.
The couple were initially introduced by the bride’s friends but Ayodeji didn’t pay him attention at the start until a special Sallah party where they got the chance to have great conversations accompanied by champagne!

“The first time I saw him, it was one of those days at work when I looked like someone had dragged me out of my bed. @kekeoluwa & @lapieee were keen on hooking us up but I was not interested in this white trad wearing Yoruba demon with well-pedicured feet. Fast forward, a few months, I followed man to lunch & the man brought @Mrmayii to join us, I still didn’t pay any attention to him. 
Later that night, at a Sallah party, Mr Mayii Walked up to me with two glasses & a bottle of champagne. And I think that was it oh.

Followed him to one corner to gist, he dropped all the right lines. Now it’s 3 am & I’ve forgotten that I still have to return to my father’s house.
He offers to drive me home. And now I can’t find my keys.
But all through the champagne, misplaced keys, ups & downs, arguments & near-endings, I always had this Peace in my heart that I had found my home.

The pair got married on the 28th of April 2018 in an intimate wedding ceremony at Dvenue events centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.
