Throwback To #Faaji2018: Fatima Ganduje and Abolaji Ajimobi Spectacular Wedding Was A Grand Celebration Of Northern And Yoruba Culture

Weddings are always a joy to behold. In March 2018, Kano State governor’s daughter, Fatima Ganduje tied the knot with her sweetheart, Abolaji Ajimobi who is the son of the governor of Oyo State.

Abolaji who is the only son of Oyo state governor, Abiola Ajimobi married Fatima, daughter of Kano state governor, Umar Ganduje.

The lovebirds had their marriage introduction in 10 November 2017 in Kano where Ganduje hosted 11 other state governors and dignitaries at the Kano state Government House.

The wedding was celebrated with two traditional wedding ceremonies that were both spectacular and glamorous.

#Faaji2018 which was the white wedding ceremony, was a wedding extravaganza which completely took Ibadan by storm.

The wedding was a beautiful blend of the Northern and Yoruba culture. There was a colourful mix of colours at the Arabian Henna Party, Kamu, Dinner ceremony, Dubar, Kai Amarya and Yini Biki.

The wedding was graced with important dignitaries like the former Nigerian president, Muhammadu Buhari, ex senate president Bukola Saraki, The then first Lady of Nigeria Aisha Buhari, the Vice President’s wife Dolapo Osibanjo, former APC’s Niational leader and now President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu along with other governors, family and friends.
