Westlife star Nicky Byrne shared unseen wedding footage from 20 years ago as he celebrated a major milestone with his pretty wife Georgina Ahern
Singer Nicky Byrne and his wife Georgina Ahern got married 20 years ago on August 9, 2003.
Nicky and Georgina met in secondary school, Pobalscoil Neasain, in 1991 at just 12-years-old.
The happy couple went on to have three kids together – twins Jay and Rocco, and daughter Gia. They made it official in Wicklow Register Office in 2003.
The civil ceremony was followed by a church blessing in the Roman Catholic Church of St Pierre et St Paul in Gallardon, Eure-et-Loir, France.

Nicky took to Instagram to pay tribute to his wife on their 20th wedding anniversary. The singer captioned the post: “20 years ago today 9/8/03. We had the most amazing day with friends and family. “Happy 20th anniversary @georginaahernbyrne.”
The singer shared a montage of his wedding with footage of himself and Georgina walking down the aisle together after exchanging their vows.
Nicky looked super dapper wearing an all white suit while Georgina looked gorgeous wearing a bardot white gown.
The pair looked happier than ever as they held hands walking down to Celine Dion’s “Because you Loved me” playing in the background while their guests threw flower petals at them.
They went out for a meal together to celebrate their special day.
Georgina got all dolled up wearing an orange mini dress and Nicky stunned in black jeans and a black bomber jacket.
The 44-year-old’s friends and fans all gushed over his heart-melting post.
Emma commented: “Happy Anniversary guys! Lovely video. Wishing you both 20 more years of love together.”
Leah wrote: “Happy 20th anniversary to you incredibly beautiful couple! I hope you both had the most magical day.”
Ciara said: “Massive milestone – congratulations. Happy anniversary.”
Niamh added: “Happy 20th wedding anniversary. Two beautiful soul mates that found each other.
“Hope you have many more years of fun, love, health and laughter. Big love to the both of you.”
