Luke Combs and his wife Nicole Hocking Combs are celebrating their three-year wedding anniversary.
The couple met during the 2016 Key West Songwriters Festival in Florida. Nicole was by Luke’s side long before he became a country music sensation. At the time, Nicole was working at BMI, who served as the host of the event, and Combs was a performer.

In a recent interview, the couple reminisced on how they met. “I didn’t have anything going on when we met, I didn’t have a record deal or a publishing deal or anything.” Luke said 
Nicole says she made the first move “I was leaving a songwriters round and he was walking up late to it and I was just like, ‘hey, come hang out with us, why are you by yourself?,” she recalled. Thinking back to that night, Luke laughed and admitted, “Yeah, I looked bad too… I was wearing camo gym shorts from Walmart… classy, classy stuff. And like the oldest t-shirt that I owned, probably.”
The couple began dating soon after and officially tied the knot on August 1, 2020. They shared footage from their wedding day in Luke Combs’ music video for his chart-topping hit, “Forever After All.”
On Monday (Aug. 1), the country superstar and his wife took to social media to celebrate the special occasion with heartfelt messages to each other. Combs wrote a sweet message for his wife via his Instagram stories, sharing, “On this day 3 years ago we made this thing official! Best decision I ever made. I love you @nicolejcombs Happy Anniversary my love!!!!

Nicole also made sure to commemorate the special day. “7 years together. 3 years married. Happy anniversary, my love,” she wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of the beloved couple in a sunflower field
Luke and Nicole became parents on June 19, 2022, when they welcomed a son, Tex Lawrence. They shared the news with fans on social media alongside a loving family photo.
Earlier this year in a joint Instagram post, the couple announced that their beautiful household is eagerly anticipating the upcoming arrival of their second son, expanding their family even further.
