10 Bath Tips to Help You Relax And Destress

Warm baths are ideal for relaxing and releasing the tension of the day. They deliver a great abundance of health and skin benefits.


It alleviates muscle pains from exercising and helps detoxify the skin. Plus its a great way to self-care. You know I’m a big fan of self-care. If you already have a bath ritual, these tips to have a relaxed bath might just add some more vava voom to it. Enjoy!

For starters you have to set the ambiance  by playing soft music, lighting scented candles and adding rose petals to your bathtub of warm water. Also, remember to turn your phones off.


Here are 10 easy tips to have a relaxed bath
:
1. Add essential oils. My go-to is coconut oil and lavender oil. The coconut nourishes my skin and the lavender oil is very soothing and gets me in a more relaxed state.Aromatherapy.

2. Add 2 cups of sea salt or Epsom salt. These promote health and muscle functions and regulates insulin levels, supports normal blood pressure and can help relieve migraine.

3. Add rose petals or get a bath caddy

4. Make sure the temperature is right.

5. Make bubbles a nicely fragranced foam bath or you could just have a soak without foam

6. Breathe. … Lie back in a comfortable position. Place one hand on your stomach and the other on your chest. Breathe in slowly and deeply through your nose. Feel your stomach expand while your chest stays still. Hold the breath for several seconds. Exhale slowly and forcefully through your mouth.

7. Sip on strawberry water or any flavoured water you love.

8. Just RELAX.

9. Moisturise immediately after you get out of the bathtub. This will seal in the moisture and keep your skin soft and supple.

10. Have a cup of your favourite herbal tea to keep the relaxed vibe going. Enjoy!
