Rev. Bola And Deji Celebrate 50 Years Together In Marital Bliss

Reverend Bola and Deji are proof that a love wrapped up in God is a love that is long lasting


The couple have been married for 50 years and when asked for the secret of their love they said it was to give the holyspirit the third seat in the marriage.

They shared their love story with smiles and gladness and it’s one to encourage those that are about to embark on the journey of love.

On the 28th of April 1973, the couple met at a church Youth program and from then thay started involving the holyspirit and each other in every decision and for the past 50yeara it has been beautiful and effective, in this 50years of bliss, they have four children and nine grandchildren.

They attributed the success of their marriage to open communication between each other and God. While Deji used to work as an accountant for reputable companies, Bola was a civil servant officer in a Federal government establishment and the two of them created a joint account and decided to help each other out in financial responsibilities.

Mr Deji and Mrs Bola  Olasukanmi also shared another secret and that is family devotion, the couple compulsorily set it that they do not leave for work without praying and that when they get back they didn’t go to bed without praying also.

Even If the world was burning, they would always thank God for protection, provision and peace over their lives and that of their family members.

While speaking about their journey together they also mentioned that their eldest daughter and granddaughter surprised them with the Photoshoot, they also said they look forward to more blissful years together.

A journey of 50 years cannot be recorded but the smiles on Bola and Deji’s face can tell that the journey is a beautiful one.
