Holly Willoughby has revealed the secret to her and Daniel Baldwin’s happy marriage as she prepares to mark their 16th wedding anniversary.
They originally met while working on the children’s entertainment show Ministry Of Mayhem in 2004. Although they were just friends for six months, she saw him in a different light after work one evening, which she said “took me by surprise”.
The This Morning host, 42, tied the knot with her husband at Amberley Castle in Sussex on August 4, 2007, and they have since welcomed three children together. Now, Holly has given an insight into her marriage to TV producer Dan, 48, and nostalgically looked back on their wedding day ahead of their 16th anniversary.
She revealed the secret to their relationship success, telling how the key to their happiness is making sure they always ‘carve out real time’ for each other.

In a weekly message for her lifestyle brand Wylde Moon, Holly said: ‘August happens to be the month I got married, so it’s always a nostalgic time for Dan and I. It will be 16 years this year, which feels crazy in so many ways. I often think about us and the glue that binds us together. Every relationship is so unique and different; what works for one couple may not for another.
“It’s a bit like developing your own personal recipe that you adapt together and personalize along the way. I love nothing better than finding out what my friends/parents believe the secret to their relationship success is and would love to hear your wisdom too!. Mine would have to be remembering to carve out real time for each other within the madness of everyday life; everything from making time to talk over dinner at home to date nights. Whatever you do to keep the spark alive, keep it up!” she further added

Alongside the sweet message, Holly shared a photograph of herself and Dan kissing on the beach, as well as a shot of her walking down the aisle on her wedding day.
Holly previously gave an insight into her ‘fairytale’ wedding day as she reflected on the occasion while marking her and Dan’s 15th anniversary last year.
She told how she and Dan had snuck into the marquee ahead of the ceremony and shared a sweet moment together simply taking in the beauty of the day.
Giving advice to newlyweds, she also urged people not to take their partners for granted and told them not to live in ‘parallel lanes’ to one another.

The couple Holly Willoughby and Daniel Baldwin started dating while they worked together on the saturday morning children’s show Ministry Of Mayhem, before exchanging vows in 2007. Ahead of the couples 16th wedding anniversary, Holly has been enjoying a family getaway to Portugal with Dan and their three children Harry, Belle and Chester.
The family have been enjoying some quality time together at their £2million holiday home, where they spend most summers.
