Gayle King’s favourite son William Bumpus Jr. is married to his partner Elise Smith. The couple tied the knot on Sunday, June 2nd.

On Tuesday, June 4, Gayle King took to social media to share the good news. She posted highlights from the stunning wedding that was held at Oprah Winfrey’ house.

In the caption of the post, the CBS Mornings co-anchor wrote:

Favorite son Will found the girl of his dreams and now lovely @elisemariesmith is an official member of the family.

It was truly a spectacular family wedding! Elise’s dad was the officiant, fav daughter @kirbybump was the best woMAN, Elise’s sister Elizabeth was the maid of honor, Luca was the ring bearer, Elise’s mom Eva gave her away, and Will asked me to walk him down the aisle.

Thanks to @oprah —the wedding was magical in her “backyard!” She pulled out all the stops with Chef @meilin21, David & Marco Events, @dianadolan4 from @porch_summerland…. they all added up to an epic wedding! Happy couple is now planning a dance party for friends! PS: The bride and I wore @amsale gowns!

In March, Gayle King announced the engagement of her son to his partner. She took to her Instagram page to share photos from their engagement.
