Rita Wilson, 67, and Tom Hanks, 67, mark their 36th wedding anniversary.

On Tuesday, April 30, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson celebrated this milestone by sharing romantic photos and sweet messages about their relationship.

Hanks captioned a photo of the sun-kissed couple with, “1988? April 30th? Big Doings. The Wilson & Hanks couple became Wife & Husband. 36 years! Nothing but Love since… Hanx.”

Wilson, meanwhile, shared a carousel of photos, showing the couple posing together in a variety of scenarios, including on a ski trip, at Egypt’s Great Sphinx of Giza and in a recording studio. In one photo Wilson posted, Hanks amusingly places his head on Wilson’s shoulder while the final picture shows the pair laughing together inside a car.

“36th anniversary! April 30, 1988,” Wilson captioned the post, before quoting “Rabbi Ben Ezra” by 19th century English poet Robert Browning: “Grow old along with me; the best is yet to be.”

Some of the couple’s famous friends left comments on Wilson’s post, celebrating their lasting relationship and marriage.
